Jennifer J. Karangelen is an associate in the firm’s litigation practice group.
Jennifer received her Juris Doctor from the University of Baltimore School of Law in May 2005, Magna Cum Laude, and was admitted to the state bar in December 2005. She was Associate Comments Editor of the University of Baltimore Law Review and Managing Editor of the Intellectual Property Law Journal. She was also the Vice President of the Intellectual Property Law Society and a member of the Heuisler Honor Society.
She graduated from the University of Maryland College Park with a bachelor’s degree in Biology where she was a Maryland Distinguished Scholar and Member of the Order of Omega Honor Society.
She authored “The Road to Judicial Abolishment of Contributory Negligence has been Paved by Bozman v. Bozman,” which was published in the University of Baltimore Law Review in Winter 2004. Additionally, her article “Editing Companies vs. Big Hollywood: A Hollywood Ending?.” which was published in the University of Baltimore Intellectual Property Law Journal in Fall 2004, won second place for the University of Baltimore in the 2004 Nathan Burkan Memorial Copyright Paper Competition.
Jennifer is a member of the American, Maryland State, Baltimore County and Baltimore City Bar Associations.
