Richard Rubin concentrates his practice in commerical and residential real estate development and financing.  Richard's practice over the past few years has included single family and multi-family townhouse, apartment and condominium acquisition and development projects, including a new mixed use Ritz Carlton condominium project in Baltimore City, condominium conversions, mixed-use commercial developments and hotel acquisitions and financings.

 

He is a graduate of the University of Maryland, Phi Beta Kappa, and the University of Maryland School of Law, with honors, where he was awarded the Order of the Coif. Richard was a member of the Moot Court Board and Notes and Comments Editor of the University of Maryland Law Review. He served as law clerk to the Honorable John C. Eldridge of the Maryland Court of Appeals. Richard is a lecturer in the area of condominium law, contracts and other aspects of real property law.
 
He was awarded an honor as the "2006 Consultant of the Year" by the Home Builder Association of Maryalnd ("HBAM"). He is a member of the Board of Directors of the Baltimore City Chapter of HBAM.

 

He has been included in the 2005-2010 editions of The Best Lawyers in America in the area of Real Estate Law. Additionally he has been featured in the 2007-2010 editions of Maryland Super Lawyers.
