These selections are the result of a rigorous process which evaluates quality in legal work in objective terms based upon peer evaluations, internal research and balloting. Final selection is made of those lawyers having the highest point totals at the completion of the evaluation process. Diane C. Bristow, a principal in the firm's litigation department, was installed as Treasurer of the Women's Bar Association of Maryland, Inc. ("the WBA") at the WBA's Annual Conference which took place on May 6th and 7th in National Harbor, Maryland. The WBA is a state-wide bar association in Maryland, with approximately 650 members committed to the full and equal participation of women in the legal profession.
GOVERNOR APPOINTS CYNTHIA LEPPERT TO THE APPELLATE COURTS NOMINATING COMMISSION 03/24/11
Cynthia Leppert, a principal in the Firm, has been appointed by Governor Martin O’Malley to a four year term on the Appellate Courts Judicial Nominating Commission. The Commission nominates candidates for judges of the Court of Appeals of Maryland and the Court of Special Appeals of Maryland.
